Disconnecting Internet Information Services on windows XP
To run Moodlestick or Moodledrive on an XP machine, you need to ensure that Windows XP is not running a web server on the machine you have plugged it into. This short course shows you how to turn Internet Information Service off, if you suspect it is running.

This site is the support site for registered users of Moodlestick, Moodledrive and MoodledriveNT. All are implementation of the open source virtual learning environment, Moodle but running on USB devices.

Moodlestick and Moodledrive are ideal for teachers:
  • who want to develop their own Moodle courses but do not have access to a development server of their own
  • to prototype ideas using Moodle before sharing them with others
  • wishing to access and retain their own Moodle courses without reference to the school server administrator
  • who just want to try Moodle before investing in a full installation on a server
Moodlestick and Moodledrive do not allow access to Moodle across a network.

MoodledriveNT is a network aware version of Moodledrive and provides an small scale intranet solution for:
  • use in a computer room or lab
  • secondary subject department
  • small primary school
